Location
Temple Trees Resort & Spa is a luxurious beach boutique hotel in the west coast resort of Induruwa where the sands are broad and peaceful. The journey from Colombo will take about two hours.  Bentota is just five minutes away and the historic town of Galle lies less than an hour to the south.
Introduction
This luxurious and contemporary beachside resort ideal, ideal for a romantic getaway, is a welcome addition to the west coast. The 10-room hotel, completed in 2008, is set in tranquil gardens scattered with temple trees (frangipani) and waterways.  Walk through the main entrance into a dramatic open space housing the living and dining areas and opening out to the swimming pool and the ocean beyond.  The luxurious rooms all have sea views even from the stylish ensuite bathrooms. Time is unscheduled here with meals served at any time you please.  Lie on the beach and take in the tropical sun, dine by candle light under the stars, or just pamper yourself and have a relaxing massage at the spa.

Accommodation
Surrounded by glass panels, each of the 10 double rooms captures beautiful sea views even from the bathrooms. The rooms are contemporary in design and open out to a private balcony.  Interiors are furnished with comfortable double beds, LDC TV with satellite channels, DVD, coffee/tea making facility, electronic safe and hairdryer.  The ensuite bathrooms are elegantly laid out with a sunken bathtub with sea views, and separate rain head h/w shower.
Facilities
Temple Trees takes pride in its cuisine and serves a range of international dishes. Meals can be had at anytime and anywhere you please – in the garden restaurant, on the beach or in the privacy of your own balcony. The Spa offers a range of Aromatherapy, Swedish, Balinese and Ayurveda therapies including relaxing body massages, reflexology, herbal baths, and beauty treatments. Guests can also benefit from the intensive preventive and curative Ayurvedic treatments offered at the adjoining Shunyata villa’s Ayurveda Wellness Centre located right on the beach. Temple Trees Resort & Spa is also an ideal setting for an intimate wedding and a comprehensive package is on offer which includes all wedding arrangements. With just 10 rooms at the resort, there is enough space for your entire wedding party including friends and relatives, to stay here throughout the festivities.
Excursions
Several water sports including surfing, snorkeling, jet skiing are on offer just nearby in Bentota and Hikkaduwa.  Go out to sea in a catamaran with the fisherman or take a boat ride along the tranquil Madu River past quaint rural villages, en route, visit the local markets, temples & craft and antique shops.  Visit the nearby Lunuganga –a garden retreat that was created by Sri Lanka’s iconic architect, Geoffrey Bawa.  The Lunuganga gardens were a life long project cherished by Bawa and designed with numerous varieties of foliage, many pavilions, and statues.  Visit Kosgoda’s Marine Turtle hatchery – a valuable conservation project that protects the endangered Marine Turtles of Sri Lanka.   Experience the southern folklore and cultural heritage with a visit to the Ariyapala Mask Museum in Ambalangoda where intricate masks used in various southern traditional dance forms are on display.  Masked dancing is also performed here regularly.
