Few small islands possess such geographical diversity and Sri Lanka’s tea-growing hills provide for one of its most breathtaking landscapes. Situated over 5,000 feet above sea level, this is a land of gurgling mountain streams and steep hillsides cloaked in luminous tea plantations and sweet-scented Cyprus and Eucalyptus trees. The Ceylon Tea Trails offers a choice of four refurbished colonial tea estate bungalows set amidst tea plantations for you to choose from for your wedding day. Few, if any, holiday destinations are more avidly sought. Weather permitting, the ceremony can be held outdoors on the manicured lawns or indoors by a roaring log fire. The 19th century Warleigh church in Dickoya built during the Colonial period is also an ideal setting for a romantic church wedding.

Ceylon Tea Trails:
In central Sri Lanka, lies the Golden Valley of Tea. This is home to old Ceylon. Here, four classic colonial bungalows, built for British tea estate managers in the days of the Raj, have been caringly restored by Dilmah Tea with the cooperation of Bogawantalawa Tea Estates. Each bungalow is different: Summerville has the air of a country cottage, Castlereagh has an eclectic style, Tientsin is unashamedly colonial, Norwood is more modern, abounding with 1960's character. Summerville and Castlereagh are situated opposite each other on the shores of the Castlereagh lake, Norwood is at the other end of the valley about 15 minutes away by car and Tientsen is about 30 minutes away in the next valley. Each house comes with its own manager, chef, butler and houseboys and between four and six luxurious suites. And when Tea Trails say all-inclusive, they mean it.
