Operated by wildlife specialist, Noel Rodrigo and his team, this is the sister property of the campsite in Yala. Located on the buffer zone of the national park, minutes from the park entrance, this campsite offers accommodation in mobile tents unlike in Yala.
Wilpattu National Park is an excellent place to spot the mysterious sloth bear who roams around the jungle trying to appease his craving for Palu and Weera, which are found in abundance in the park. The park is also gaining popularity for good leopard sightings. Apart from them, you can also see elephants, a variety of birdlife and deer in large numbers.
The campsite operates on an ‘all-inclusive’ basis that covers: accommodation; all meals and snacks; all beverages and drinks and two game drives for one night’s stay. If guests are interested in going on a private game drive accompanied with a naturalist an additional supplement is applicable.
