Water’s Edge is Sri Lanka’s newest golf course, located close to the Royal Colombo. It is also the most challenging course in Sri Lanka; its name giving away the many devious water traps and features along its length.

Description
Water’s Edge, Sri Lanka’s fourth golf course, opened a few years ago and is steadily becoming popular. The course is situated a short drive from the commercial centre of Colombo and Sri Lanka’s parliament near Battaramulla. The 18-hole course is famous for its picturesque waterways and has a 72 stroke par. The course spans over 200 acres of reclaimed marshland. With the numerous water hazards making this a very challenging course, there are five par 5's, five par 3's and eight par 4's. All but the coolest tempered inexperienced golfers may be better playing at the Royal Colombo as the course demands very precise driving.

Other facilities
Water’s Edge has an excellent 300-meter floodlight driving range with 20 driving bays. Golfers have a choice of practicing off turf or on artificial mats. Ample parking facilities are found nearby. The resort also has a spa, large swimming pool, a large gymnasium, a reputed fine dining restaurant and smart member’s bar.
