Location
Sri Villas Araliya is a four bedroom beach villa located on a beautiful stretch of coastline in Induruwa on the West coast. Induruwa is just 10 minutes south of Bentota. The drive to Galle takes approximately 1.5 hours. The journey from Colombo’s International Airport is about 2.5 hours.
Introduction
Sri Villas Aralilya sits on the left of the property as you look out to sea and is one of three elegant two-storey villas owned by Sri Villas in Induruwa. Sri Villas offers refined luxury and is popular with couples and small families wanting stylish accommodation with direct sea views on a safe swimming beach. While the villas are equipped to cater to the expectations of modern living, much of the architectural design is based on traditional Sri Lankan homes. High vaulted ceilings, tall louvered doors and windows, and open spaces allow the cooling ocean breeze to permeate the property. Sri Villas Araliya can accommodate upto eight guests. It is possible to book all three villas at Sri Villas for a group celebration such as family reunion, birthday or even a wedding. Sri Villas is fully organised to cater for parties with upto 100 guests. The entire property has accommodation facilities for upto 18 guests.

Sri Villas Araliya has four a/c suites - two master suites with ensuite bathrooms on the upper floor that opens out their own private balconies overlooking the Indian Ocean; a junior suite with ensuite bathroom and a twin bedroom located on the ground floor.
Facilities
The ground floor consists of a spacious living and dining area which opens out to the swimming pool on one end and the garden and the beach on the other end. Guests can choose to have their meals in the dining room furnished with a 10 seater dining table or in the privacy of their own balcony or verandah. There is part open-plan kitchen with a bar. Enjoy traditional Sri Lankan curries, fresh seafood dishes and a variety of Asian and International cuisine. Menus will be discussed with guests on a daily basis so that fresh ingredients can be purchased by the staff in nearby markets. Fresh seafood is purchased directly from the local fisherman. One of the key selling points of Sri Villas is the fact that the food, despite being delicious, is offered “at cost” which means that you save a considerable amount compared to other accommodation of a comparable quality. Araliya Villa has access to the main Sri Villas 25 metre swimming pool with steps leading to a shallow section on one side which is ideal for children. Other facilities include an in-house masseur, private yoga sessions with prior notice, and cookery classes with the resident chef. There is also a laundry service and baby sitting which can be arranged with prior notice. A team of English speaking staff in residence will ensure you have a relaxing holiday.
Excursions
Watch life unfolding just in front of the villa as the catamarans are pulled ashore after a night of fishing out at sea – a much awaited occasion each morning where all get involved in tugging the boat ashore with songs in their heart and hope of a bountiful catch. Take a stroll on the beach late at night and you might see Marine turtles coming ashore to nest especially during full moon. Just 10 minutes away is Bentota where numerous watersports are on offer including surfing, snorkelling, water skiing, wind surfing, and diving. Take a boat ride along the tranquil Madu River past quaint rural villages. En route visit the local markets, temples, local crafts and antique shops. One hour's drive will take you to the historic town of Galle and the 17C Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site. Explore Galle Fort’s narrow streets lined with Dutch and British colonial period buildings which are still in use, sturdy ramparts looking out to sea, the lighthouse, museums, and a growing collection of shops, cafes and boutique hotels.
