The Sri Lanka Travel Specialists
(9 nights / 10 days)
Begin your Chinese New Year break with a night close to the airport, where you can indulge in some pool time and recover from your flight. From there make your way to the Cultural Triangle, where you can visit the Dambulla Cave Temples – Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave complex, climb the Lion Rock citadel in Sigiriya and go on a game safari in a national park in the area to catch a glimpse of the Sri Lankan elephant roaming in the wild. Journey to Kandy and visit the Temple of the Tooth, exploring the bustling street markets in town before taking a scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea plantation in the area and explore the town also known as ‘Little England’. Travel south, making your way to Yala National Park where you can hop on a jeep and venture inside the park to spot the Sri Lankan leopard, sloth bear or even the mugger crocodile.
