Global Towers is situated on Colombo's southern outskirts, between the city and the capital's only true beach resort, Mount Lavinia. It overlooks the Indian Ocean and from its open-air rooftop has wonderful panoramic views across the city. Colombo's much-loved beach fish restaurant, Beach Wadiya, lies just across a relatively quiet thoroughfare.
Introduction
Global Towers began life as a prestigious apartment development. It now also offers many of its modern two and three-bedroom apartments on a short-let basis, which makes it a particularly attractive proposition to sports groups less concerned with traditional Sri Lankan ambience than with up-to-date facilities and a communal atmosphere at a highly-attractive price. The bars and restaurants of central Colombo also lie only 15-20 minutes away.

Eighty apartments, of two and three bedrooms. Each room is equipped with en suite bathrooms.
Facilities
each apartment includes sofa, chairs, satellite TV and kitchen facilities. The hotel also possesses a small gymnasium, outdoor pool, steam room, and sports bar with big-screen TV. The restaurant aptly named Trainspotters, provides a scenic view of the Colombo bound trains that ambles along at the edge of the sea and offers an interesting mix of Sri Lankan and Western cuisine. The rooftop with wonderful views of the Indian Ocean can be used for special events.
