Palm Beach is a value-for-money beachside hotel located in Colombo’s southern beach satellite of Mount Lavinia. The centre of Colombo is about 20 minutes away from here by taxi or tuk-tuk. The journey from the international airport will take about 1.5 hours.
Introduction
Palm Beach is set amidst a tropical garden with the Indian Ocean just a few steps away. The hotel is conveniently located close to cafes and restaurants, shops, and the main attractions in Colombo. The hotel offer clean and comfortable rooms, restaurants serving Sri Lankan and western cuisine, and a lively bar and night club.

There are Pool View, Superior and Family Rooms all with a/c and overhead fans. Interiors are furnished with double or twin beds. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers.
Facilities
Dine indoors at the Summer Time restaurant or outdoors at the Atrium located by the poolside. There is also a roof top restaurant and bar with ocean views. Sri Lankan and western cuisine is served at all the restaurants here. A range of alcoholic beverages are on offer at the poolside bar as well as at the Night Club which comes alive at night with DJ music. Other hotel facilities include a swimming pool, beach club where you can relax by the sea, gym, indoor games including table tennis, board games, pool table; wifi internet facility, room service and laundry service.
Excursions
Explore the coastal town of Mount Lavnia with its characterful beachside bars, cafes and restaurants and wayside boutiques. Take a tuk-tuk (trishaw) ride into Colombo which is an interesting mix of the old and the new. Visit ancient Buddhist temples including the Bellanwilla Temple, ornate Hindu Kovils and Dutch period churches. The national museum, art galleries, shops, restaurants, night clubs, and spas are all located within 15 minutes drive.
