One of Unawatuna’s smartest hotels, tucked away in thick jungle at the foot of Rumassala a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Rooms with fan are relatively cheap and good value, the more expensive a/c rooms have satellite TV and mini-bar, and there’s also a small swimming g pool, Ayurveda centre. Sauna and yoga classes.

Aug 29, 2007 : Unawatuna is a much better family location. Good eating places and proximity to Galle. Good accommodation, lovely location, friendly staff.

Apr 20, 2007 : I was disappointed, although the concept should work. I would only recommend the top Tower Suite -- we eventually paid for an upgrade to test it and it had superb views. The Ayurvedic massage centre was very primitive.
