Casa Davene is a compact beachside villa fronting the Indian Ocean. It has two comfortable bedrooms and a living room opening out to a small garden edged by the turquoise seas. Casa Davene is ideal for a couple or a family and can accommodate four guests.

There are two a/c bedrooms furnished with double beds. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers.
Facilities
The living and dining area opens on to verandah with spectacular sea views. There is a kitchen equipped with a fridge and cooker where guests can cook their own meals. There are several shops nearby in Thalpe as well as in Galle where you can purchase groceries, vegetables, meats and fresh seafood. Casa Davene has a housekeeper who is at hand if you should require any assistance. Safe swimming in the sea is possible just a short stroll away during the season from December to April.
Excursions
Go snorkelling or scuba diving in Unawatuna Bay. Venture out just off the coast and you will find colourful corals, exotic reef fish as well as shipwrecks waiting to be explored. Visit the Rhumassala Temple with beautiful views stretching out over the Indian Ocean. A walk around the headland near the temple is very special. Famed for the natural medicinal herbs that found here, you will walk through hidden villages and verdant jungle valleys eventually finding yourself on "Jungle Beach"- a little-known and secluded beach. The historic town of Galle, with its 17C Dutch Fort, a UNESCO-protected World Heritage site is just a 15 minute drive. With its well-preserved ramparts overlooking the cricket stadium, lighthouse, narrow streets, interesting restaurants and cafes, Galle Fort deserves hours of exploration.
