Shinagawa Beach is a contemporary boutique hotel with a spectacular beach frontage in Balapitiya on the West Coast. Opening in December 2013, the hotel is set in a secluded spot where the golden beaches are unspoilt and safe for swimming during the season from December to April. Balapitiya is located in between Bentota and Hikkaduwa where there are plenty of watersports on offer. The historic city of Galle is 45 minutes south. The journey from Colombo’s international airport takes about two hours via the Southern Highway.
