Clalughton House was designed by Sri Lanka’s iconic architect, the late Geoffrey Bawa, in 1984, and has his signature verandas, courtyards and open-sided pavilions. The villa is set on eight acres of tropical gardens scattered with coconut palms and has access to a secluded stretch of beach, suitable for swimming and snorkelling between December and April. A Yoga shala, swimming pool and pool pavilion are located at lower levels in the sprawling gardens. This three-bedroom villa is tastefully furnished and is booked on a villa only basis. It can accommodate up to eight adults and three children.
