Meals are served on the veranda looking out to the gardens. Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, snacks, fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee are served. Join the cook in the kitchen and learn to prepare rice and curries. Most of the fresh vegetables, fruits and coconuts are from their own plantation; fresh seafood and other groceries are purchased from the village market or from Galle town. Alcoholic beverages are not available, but guests are welcome to bring their own. There is a large infinity-edge swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and an in-house spa offers Ayurvedic treatments and relaxing massages, whilst an experienced Ayurvedic doctor overlooks the therapy programmes. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, iPod dock, satellite TV, board games and books; a small plunge pool in the garden for cooling off; and a trishaw in which guests can head off to the beach. The beaches of Unawatuna Bay, Thalpe, Habaraduwa, and Kabalana are all just a short ride away and good for swimming, snorkeling and surfing during December to April.
