Taylors Hill is named after James Taylor who introduced tea production to old Ceylon. Built by a British planter over 100 years ago, the bungalow is distinctly different from most other plantation bungalows in the hill country in its architecture, imposing size and stone façade. This spacious five-bedroom bungalow has been refurbished, offering luxurious comfort and a cosy ambience, and enjoys a picturesque setting surrounded by mountains The stylish interiors are bright and airy and decorated in vibrant colours, soft furnishings and plush sofas. Taylors Hill is set on manicured lawns edged with colourful flower beds. The room rates at Taylors Hill include a three-course breakfast, afternoon tea and cake, and dinner. Lunch can be included on FB basis. A minimum of two nights stay is recommended in order to experience this wonderful holiday retreat.
