Blue Magpie, on the edge of Sri Lanka’s last surviving rain forest, Sinharaja, is a rudimentary property with a stunning location. It has 12 rooms with en suite bathrooms but otherwise is a place of few frills. As velvet white mist rolls in to a chorus on of bird song, the words breathtaking and beautiful appear inadequate. One for nature lovers.
