Location
Enison is a four-bedroomed villa located within the 500 acre estate of the Victoria Golf and Country Resort, one of Asia's most beautiful golf courses. Enison overlooks the Victoria Dam and is on the lower level of Coconut Hill, next to the first fairway. Victoria has won many accolades including 'Best Course in Asia 2005', by Asian Golf monthly, and ranked in 'Top 100 Most Beautiful courses in the World,' by Golfers Digest. Kandy town is 30 minutes drive and the journey from Colombo's International Airport takes between 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic. To avoid the hassles of road travel, hop on board the Air taxi service from the International Airport directly to the Victoria Lake.
Introduction
Managed by the resort and owned by a Sri Lankan club member, this modern lodge is a good-value accommodation option with magnificent views of the Victoria Dam and the Knuckles Mountains. You can hire a room or have exclusive use of the lodge. It is only just a short walk from the club house, tennis court and swimming pool. Enison is ideal for touring sports teams and small groups. There is also a regular shuttle service to the Clubhouse.

Accommodation
The four a/c rooms (two twins, two doubles) are spacious and comfortable. The ensuite bathrooms, with matching décor to the rooms, are well-fitted and modern. Relax on your private balcony overlooking the course and surrounding hills.
Facilities
Between the rooms there is a communal area to recount tales of birdie putts and long drives. The lounge area has satellite TV and coffee/tea making facilities. Food can also be served here for group dining. There is a well-fitted kitchenette as well as a locker room to store your golfing gear.
Excursions
The Victoria Golf and Country Resort offers a wide range of facilities including an 18-hole golf course, putting green and practice range, pro shop and PGA golf academy. Other sports and recreational facilities include bar and terrace dining, floodlit tennis court, saddle club, riding lesson for adults and kids, and horse safaris. Other facilities include an outdoor infinity swimming pool and an Ayurvedic wellness centre offering a range of relaxing treatments. The surrounding reservoir and central hills are ideal for bird watching. Over 100 species of birds can be spotted on nature trails within the 500-acre estate accompanied by a local expert. Mountain bike trails also provide for much adventure. The city of Kandy, just 30 minutes away, is steeped in history and culture. Interesting activities include: a visit to the Temple of the Tooth where a sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha is enshrined; Peradeniya Botanical gardens, with its orchid collection and formally laid-out trees; Kandy's rich ancient arts and crafts including drum making, Dumbara mat weaving and Kandyan dancing and drumming.
