The Eden Hotel is unashamedly traditional, but it remains one of the finer hotels on Sri Lanka’s west coast, and certainly the best on the Beruwela strip. It bravely strives for a sense of grandeur, but its huge swimming pool and sandy beach are the main attractions for many. Claims for 5-star status are excessive, but it has much to commend it.
