Location:
The drive from Colombo is a long one but well worth it. Tangalle,
a small fishing town on the southern tip of the island, is
rather dusty and noisy, but the surrounding countryside offers
a great deal: from Buddhist and Hindu temples to Yala National
Park, Sri Lanka’s most abundantly stocked game reserve.
