Sri Lanka cricket has reconfirmed its dates for England's
pre-Christmas tour -- switching the Galle and Kandy Tests.
The one-day side will arrive in Sri Lanka on September 25,
playing a warm-up match and five ODIs before October 15. For
those who want to visit the cultural triangle and the capital,
Colombo, with perhaps a spot of beach in between, we are offering
individually tailored packages.
Most emphasis, though, will be on the Test series. The Test
side heads out to replace them a month later, and has two
scheduled three-day warm-up matches before the first of three
Tests takes place in Kandy from
December 1-5.
Further Tests follow in Colombo (December 9-12) and Galle
(December 18-22) before the side returns to England two days
before Christmas.
