Dear Red Dot traveller
We have been informed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) that the
itinerary for the forthcoming England tour has been changed.
SLC wanted to make sure that Galle’s refurbishments
were completed in time so the Galle and Kandy Tests have been
swapped around. The new itinerary is as follows:
1-5 Dec – First Test (Kandy)
9-13 Dec – Second Test (SSC, Colombo)
18-22 Dec – Third Test (Galle)
The new dates were due to be announced publically in the week
beginning June 25.
After a busy weekend, Red Dot has now secured accommodation
for the new dates. We have an exciting selection of properties,
including traditional resort hotels in various price brackets,
some stylish boutique hotels, luxurious villas and fun guesthouses.
Remember, no one knows Sri Lanka better.
For those that have already booked, please contact your consultant
to make the necessary changes to your itinerary. We will also
offer a full refund if you are no longer able to travel due
to the itinerary change. We will aim to make the changes as
soon as possible.
For those still in the process of booking, please bear with
us if there are delays this week as we process all the changes
that have to be made to our existing bookings. Our new set
packages will be online imminently. We will be offering the
following set tours:
Tour 1 – Kandy Test
Tour 2 – Kandy and Colombo Tests
Tour 3 – Colombo and Galle Tests
Tour 4 – Galle Test
As ever, we are also happy to build tailormade holidays around
the cricket.
We will also be organizing a fun cricket day on 16 Dec in
Seenigama to raise some much-needed cash for the Foundation
of Goodness, Murali’s charity. Everyone is invited to
come along and play some six-a-side cricket. Afterwards we’ll
be organising an informal dinner which will be attended by
some of Sri Lanka’s cricketers, including Lasith Malinga
and Murali.
Prior to the Kandy and Galle Tests we’ll also be organising
some events, including golf days and another cricket day.
