David Hopps – Our UK director as well
as senior cricket writer for the Guardian fell in love with
Sri Lanka when covering the 2001 England Tour. David was the
architect behind Thorner Mexborough CC’s promotion in
2006 and is such an expert on cricket tours that he even writes
books on the subject.
Charlie Austin – Charlie directs the
company from the Colombo office, where he is also CEO of CricInfo.com.
As well as his cricket journalism, he manages 2 of Sri Lanka’s
international cricket stars. When he has the chance he takes
the number 5 spot for the Colombo Crusaders CC.
Richard Jelf – Richard runs the cricket
operations side to the company. He will be your main contact
in designing a tour that best suits your team. Like David and
Charlie, Richard has played and watched cricket around the world,
and is currently the overseas player for the Burgher Association
CC, Colombo.
Hiran Gunesekara – As head of Red Dot
operations, Hiran organises and coordinates the logistical side
to the tour. From arranging your umpires to booking the hotel
room, Hiran ensures this is all done and is responsible for
the smooth running of tour. He assures us he was a top school
boy cricketer in his day and is now an avid supporter of the
national team.
