160 km from Colombo, accessible by plane, train

course. Only the second course to receive a royal
charter, the course is well established and monstrous
trees line the narrow fairways. Despite being in
the centre of Colombo, the course maintains its
tranquillity – although the occasional commuter
train running along the 6th fairway can prove hazardous.
