Like the restaurant and bar scene, the selection of
cafes to visit for a quiet cup tea or coffee used to
be limited. But this has now happily changed and, like
elsewhere in the world, the coffee drinking population
is now growing steadily. We have selected a handful
of popular cafes. In addition, the Barista global chain
has new outlets at the World Trade Centre, on the Galle
Road next to the Galle Face Hotel, and in Cinnamon Gardens.
