operators in the Asian region. Their fleet of Bell 206 B3
Jet Ranger helicopters are based at Ratmalana Airport, just
south of Colombo’s city centre and they can fly direct
to any destination (i.e. they don’t have to land at
airports) with the exception of restricted areas in the far
north and east. Each helicopter can accommodate a maximum
of four passengers.
Helicopter sightseeing tours:
Spectacular sightseeing tours are currently organised to Adam’s
Peak (60 mins), Galle Fort (90 mins) and Sigiriya Rock Fortress
(120 mins). The tours depart between 0600 and 1800 hours and
are dependent on the prevailing weather conditions at the
time.
