phone calls during their stay in Sri Lanka thanks to our
highly-popular tie-up with Hutchison Telecom.
With Hutch IDD you can make calls
within Sri Lanka and abroad at a fraction of the cost
compared to using your normal mobile phone SIM card or
to the charges imposed by hotels. IDD
rates to the UK from Sri Lanka have been slashed to about
5p per minute (check rates below).
Red Dot will deliver your SIM card on your arrival in
Sri Lanka. Simply switch the SIM card in your mobile phone
and you can keep in touch with friends, family and business
calls with minimum cost and minimum hassle.
To qualify for this service, you
must book an airport arrival with Red Dot. We charge
GBP £5 for delivery of the SIM card, plus a non-refundable
phone-call credit of GBP £10, GBP £20 or GBP
£30.
Once your credit is spent, Hutch
pay-as-you-go scratch cards are available at numerous
outlets nationwide. Recharge your account following simple
steps shown on the back of the card. When you holiday
is finished, dispose of your SIM
card any way you wish.
With Red Dot's tie-up with Hutch, you can manage
your phone calls effectively. Call in the confidence that
there will be no unexpected phone bills awaiting you on

IMPORTANT:
1. Please ensure before travel
that your mobile phone is not locked and can accept
a change of SIM card. Many mobile phones are locked.
It is your responsibility to be aware of this. Consider
buying a spare SIM-free handset if you are concerned.
2. Red Dot can also provide a basic mobile
on request for use with your SIM card. The cost of the
mobile hire is an additional GBP £1 a day and
the handset must be returned at the end of the holiday.
This service is only available to clients booking airport
departure transfers.
3. Red Dot cannot be held responsible for any
problems with locked mobiles, or with receiving or making
calls on the Hutch network, and cannot refund under
any circumstances.
