Deccan Aviation Lanka has operated since 2004 and manages a fleet of US-made Beechcraft 1900 series aircraft. These are based at Ratmalana Airport, just south of Colombo’s city centre. They can fly direct from the Bandaranayake International Airport to the desired airfield close to your hotel. The company operates under certificates issued by Sri Lanka’s Civil Aviation Authority.

Please enquire with your consultant for the latest baggage limitations. In some cases Red Dot will organise a baggage vehicle to deliver your luggage by road to your hotel. Also, be aware that flights are only confirmed upon full payment and that the cancellation terms are stringent. Tickets are not required for internal flights.

Flights are available between 7.00 am and finish at 5.30pm – basically, daylight hours in Sri Lanka. The maximum capacity of the Air Taxi is fifteen passengers. Payment must be paid in advance to confirm the flight and the price – which fluctuates according to market fuel prices. Cancellation charges are as follows:
 

• 25 % cancellation charge up to 72 hours before departure time
• 50 % cancellation charge between 72 and 24 hours before departure time. 
• "No refund" is possible in case of cancelation less than 24 hours before scheduled departure. However, no cancellation charge will be applicable in case you desire an advancement or postponement of flight, subject to availability of aircraft.

Deccan Aviation reserves the right to delay, extend, reschedule or cancel a flight for operational reasons - bad weather, VIP movements or other similar situations beyond the immediate control of the carrier.
