Skye House is a beautiful five-bedroom holiday villa set on a pristine stretch of beach in Habaraduwa on the Galle coast. This child-friendly two-storey beach house has spacious and well decorated interiors. The house is set amidst gardens scattered with coconut trees and edged by the turquoise seas. This family beach house can accommodate up to 14 guests. This is also an ideal venue for a special family celebration.
There are two double rooms and a children’s room furnished with six bunk beds is located on the upper floor. These bedrooms open on to a balcony that skirts around and has spectacular sea views. Two more rooms – a double and a twin room, are located on the ground floor. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have a/c and overhead fans. Ensuite bathrooms have h/w showers.
The spacious, open-plan living and dining area is set around the swimming pool and have views of the garden and sea beyond. There is a study room furnished with a work desk and wifi internet. The well-equipped kitchen has a central breakfast bar. Skye House has a chef who can prepare Sri Lankan and western meals, as well as housekeeping staff.
Skye House has a fine beach setting in Habaraduwa on the Galle coast. Galle’s historic 17C Dutch Fort is only 10 kms to the north-west. The journey from Colombo’s international airport will take about 2.5 hours. Consider taking the Air Taxi and fly into Koggala which is just 10 minutes away. If you are heading into the hills afterwards, consider taking the sea plane from Koggala to Hatton.
