As this is a heritage property, the hotel does not offer a swimming pool, spa or gym, with its focus being on authenticity in both architecture and hospitality.
The remote setting of Chanoud Garh is one of its key attractions but bear in mind that you will need to drive to reach the major attractions in the area.
Children are warmly welcomed here, and the palace has plenty of space for little people to safely roam. While the hotel has a quiet and calm atmosphere, hotel staff can organise village walks and jeep rides for families to explore rural Indian life and spot peacocks, camels or goats in the village. Meals are mostly Rajasthani so the hotel will need to be pre-warned of any little guests needing specific modifications to this menu.Chanoud Garh isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a lived heritage that balances luxury with responsibility. Midway between Jodhpur (a 2-hour drive) and Udaipur (a 3-hour drive), Chanoud lies in the foothills of the Aravalli hills on the outer edge of the Thar Desert.
