Inspiration
Tucked away in the residential Ratanada neighbourhood of Jodhpur, Rohet House is a small and intimate boutique hotel, the kind of place that feels like a second home.
Service is warm and generous, and the owners have carefully curated everything from the pastel-hued decor and bathroom chandeliers, to the locally sourced furniture, the hand-painted frescoes in each of the eight guest rooms, and the dazzling green-blue tiles that line the pool.
At the restaurant, feast on dishes straight from the family recipe book–we recommend the Rajasthani thali. Retire to the lounge for an ice-cold G&T.
What we love
- A pastel-hued refuge in Jodhpur’s upscale Ratanada neighbourhood
- It’s family-run, with warm and generous hosting
- Refresh after a day of sightseeing in the infinity-edged swimming pool
- Dine on recipes from the family archives in the open-air restaurant
The hotel doesn’t offer room service so be sure to make use of the restaurant
It’s tucked away in residential Ratanada but Jodhpur’s key sights are within easy reach
There isn’t currently a spa but that’s not unusual for the smaller hotels in the centre
Children over the age of 14 are welcome but there are no specific amenities. We feel it’s best suited to adults.
Rohet House can be found on PWD Road in the Ratanada district of Jodhpur, opposite Dilip Garden.
