Inspiration
The Taj Connaught sits in New Delhi’s Connaught Place, primely located for those looking to soak in the capital’s culture or looking for comfort and convenience.
Its beautiful art deco interiors complement the Georgian architecture of the area, and its 104 rooms are chic and plush, equipped with all the creature comforts you’d expect from a luxury hotel. You’re close to all the major landmarks from India Gate to Qutab Minar, as well as the flea markets, street food vendors and museums that complete Delhi’s picture. We love the pool and gym, and the guided tours that explore the city’s spiritual and culinary highlights.
What we love
- Fantastic location in the centre of New Delhi, close to major landmarks like India Gate
- An elegant and chic hotel that fuses modern style with Art Deco design and the Georgian architecture of Connaught Place
- Keep healthy and energised during your stay, either taking a dip in the pool, at the gym, or enjoying morning yoga
- Comfortable rooms come with all the mod cons and great views of the city
- Frequent travellers will embrace the cuisine in The Hub, with menus inspired by cultures across the globe
Some of the rooms are a little small, though in such a prime location, there’s so much to do outside your rooms that we don’t feel it’s an issue
Some may prefer a hotel with more homely touches, but it’s a luxurious city hotel so perfect for those who prefer clean and modern comfort
The hotel does not have a spa facility, but with a pool and a gym, we think you’ll find enough ways to unwind after long days exploring the city
Families are welcome, but amenities are not designed with families in mind.
Located at the Shivaji Stadium in Connaught Place which provides easy access to some of New Delhi’s biggest landmarks, including Jantar Mantar and India Gate. It’s a 15-minute drive from Safdarjung International Airport.
