Hidden amongst the treetops on the edge of Bandhavgarh National Park, Tree House Hideaway is a romantic property that immerses you in nature.
Its unique construction will make you feel a million miles from home - five tree house rooms are each exquisitely designed to reflect the outdoors. They all have a private ensuite, spacious living area, and a balcony to admire a birds-eye view of the forest.
Lanterns pave a trail to the atmospheric dining hall, built around an old Mahua tree. Enjoy delicious local cuisine that’ll fuel you for adventures in the forest. Activities include jeep safaris, cycling, and nature walks.

It’s a long drive from the nearest airport but a visit to Bandhavgarh is worth the effort if you’re seeking an authentic Indian safari experience
It gets cold in winter but you’ll be provided with hot water bottles and there are open fires to warm by in the evenings
All the rooms and common areas are accessed via stilted walkways and stairs so consider this if you have any accessibility requirements
Families are welcome at Tree House Hideaway but amenities aren’t designed with families in mind. Kids will love the safari activities and the treehouse design but bear in mind that it’s an intimate property with a romantic feel so it’s better suited to couples.
One of seven Pugdundee Safari properties that each strive to rewild the forests in which they are built. They are working to eliminate single-use plastics and 70% of the hotel’s energy is solar-powered, including the water heating pump.
All food is sourced within a 50km radius and organically grown, while staff are employed from the surrounding villages.
Tree House Hideaway is located a short drive from the Tala Gate of wildlife-rich Bandhavgarh National Park. It’s a 4-hour drive from the nearest airport in Jabalpur.
