Set in the South Ari Atoll, one of the world’s most spectacular dive regions, Constance Moofushi offers an indulgent beach break with a natural paired back feel, within reach of wildlife-rich coral reefs - there are 32 dive sites under 30 minutes away, famed for sightings of manta rays and whale sharks on their migrations.
Even non-divers will be able to enjoy the experience, with snorkelling to the house reef included in your stay, and you can spend hours spotting puffer fish, blue tang shoals, and plenty of other multicoloured specimens darting across the seabed. But it’s not all about the activities. Those seeking a relaxed stay will be spoiled with the powdery sand beaches and over-water spa treatment rooms, with dedicated rooms for couples and yoga rooms. The all-inclusive package is comprehensive and generous, and we feel good value, including all meals, premium drinks, non-motorised watersports, yoga, and a full-to-the-brim minibar in every villa.

Unlike some resorts, villas do not come with their own private pools, but we think the quality of the snorkelling and diving is so high that you’d prefer to be out in the waves
Most of your meals will be served at Manta restaurant but they change the theme daily to keep things varied
If you’re the kind of person who prefers to dine out of your resort, it’s not the most convenient but everything you need is on-site
