Tucked away among lush greenery just outside of Negombo, Randoni Villa is a peaceful, modest guesthouse that combines Sri Lankan warmth with a homely atmosphere.

Set by the banks of the Attangalu Oya River, the property offers a sense of calm away from the bustle, while remaining close to the golden sands of Negombo Beach and the convenience of Colombo’s international airport. Centred around a main villa, the guesthouse has only a handful of rooms that all offer airy interiors leading out onto shaded communal terraces. Cool tiled floors, vibrant decor and comfortable furnishings reflect a laid-back island style, while attentive service makes guests feel at home.

A small swimming pool fringed by tropical plants forms the heart of the property, perfect for a refreshing dip before lingering over a meal or an afternoon siesta. Meals are traditionally Sri Lankan, including just-caught seafood and fragrant curries made with fresh produce from the local market. Food is served on the low-key terrace or alongside the river. Days here can be spent exploring Negombo’s historic canals and lively fish markets, taking a riverboat ride to spot wildlife or simply unwinding before or after your flight in the villa’s tranquil gardens.

Randoni Villa is just a 15-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, making it an ideal first or last stop on your Sri Lankan journey. Located in the quiet village of Raddoluwa near Negombo, the villa is within easy reach of essential amenities. Negombo itself is half an hour by car, and offers unique colonial-era architecture, bustling fish markets, and golden beaches along the Indian Ocean.

Exceptional tour of Sri Lanka with Dami. We cannot recommend Dami at Red dot tours highly enough. As our guide over 9 days he made sure that our trip to Sri Lanka was unforgettable- always going above & beyond to impart his knowledge, show us things off the beaten track, looking after us, getting us to try many local delicacies & making us laugh .. a LOT. Cannot imagine anyone doing a better job- if we could take him with us on every holiday we would!

Dulmini did a great job listening to our wishes and arranged an itinerary that was very busy but met all our needs. Sisira, our guide, was outstanding, providing us with great local knowledge and suggesting other activities on our travels. He was a great driver on the busy Sri Lankan roads, was always punctual but above all added colour to the whole trip.

Wow what can I say, from start to finish we have had a wonderful holiday with Red Dot Tours. We spent 13 days on a Bawa tour with wonderful driver and guide Manjula, including Kandalama Heritance, The Kandy House, The Last House, Jetwing Yala, Jetwing Lighthouse and Club Villa hotels. This is an excellent tour company. They planned our Sri Lankan holiday from start to finish. The trip was initially planned for 2022 but due to Covid and other issues we didn’t manage to undertake the trip until this year. As a group of 8 we have had the most fabulous tour of Sri Lanka organised by Dulmini from RedDot who totally understood my brief of "some" culture, agriculture, nature, trekking and relaxation. The hotels chosen were a wonderful mixture of homestay, tented and pure luxury (Ceylon Tea Trails). The experiences to local villages, trekking the Pekoe Trail and climbing Pidurangala were memorable and our wonderful guide, Ananda, was so informative and knowledgeable and adapted to our needs admirable (not easy with a group of 8)
