Randoni Villa

Introduction

Randoni Villa is a simple two-bedroom holiday home edged by the Attanagalla river nearby Colombo’s international airport and has gained a positive reputation from its largely budget clientele. This tranquil riverside setting is an ideal first or last stop on a holiday in Sri Lanka. Randhoni offers two spacious airconditioned bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms; Sri Lankan meals, swimming pool and a laidback ambience. Randoni Villa can accommodate up to six guests and can be booked by the room or as a whole villa.

Accommodation

The two bedrooms are comfortably furnished with king-size beds fitted with eight-inch mattresses and mosquito netting; writing desk, luggage rack and lounge chairs. Additional bedding can be provided upon request. One room can accommodate a family, the other a couple. Ensuite courtyard bathrooms have h/w showers. Interiors are decorated with colourful handloom soft furnishings. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fan, TV and Wi-Fi. Both rooms open out to a private verandah, small garden and the river beyond. One room is located closer to the swimming pool.

Facilities

There is a small riverside dining area with a kitchen where guests can have their meals. Sri Lankan rice and curries, snacks, fresh juices, tea and coffee are served here. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages. There is built-in seating overlooking the river that serves as a lounge area. Relax with a cup of tea and take in the scenic river views or spend your time taking in the sun by the poolside.

Randoni Villa is set by a river in the village of Radoluwa just 20 minutes away from Colombo’s international airport. Randoni is en route to Kandy and just 30 minutes from Negombo. Colombo is about 45 minutes away.
