Cadjan Wild is a laid-back eco-retreat consisting of a spacious lodge and two chalets, all built out of recycled timber. Rustic chic best describes the interiors which allows a feeling of being one with nature while enjoying some modern-day comforts. The gardens are scattered with fruit trees that attracts many birds including peacock. If you’re lucky, you might even spot an occasional elephant at the end of the property which is essentially the Yala National Park. Red Dot can organize a safari jeep to collect guests from the resort on request. Cadjan Wild is the sister property of Cadjan Earth in the North West village of Aanamaduwa.
The Lodge: This spacious lodge can accommodate six guests. The ground floor consists of an open-sided sleeping area, living/dining, and two ensuite bathrooms with h/w showers. There is an upper floor loft for relaxing. The Lodge is equipped with comfortable double beds, lounge chairs, pedestal fans and mosquito netting.
Chalets: The two chalets are spacious with each consisting of a bedroom opening out to a private verandah, an upper-floor loft, and well-designed ensuite bathroom with h/w shower. The open-sided loft, furnished with bean bags and mattresses, is accessed via a steep staircase and is ideal for lazing about and spotting birds. Due to the steep staircase, the loft is not recommended for children below 12 years. One of the chalets sleeps four guests while the other sleeps two. There are extra mattresses in the loft of both chalets that can sleep additional guests. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fans, double beds, lounge chairs, and room service.
