Panna National Park

Central India & Tigers, India

One of the most successful tiger reintroduction projects in India means that there is now a healthy and growing population of these magnificent animals at Panna National Park, alongside hyenas, wolves, wild cats and dholes (wild dogs).

The park is a dramatic landscape of steep gorges, thunderous waterfalls and serene lakes, covered in a thick dense jungle that dips down to the Ken River and soars up to the peaks of the Vindhyan Ranges. The birdlife here is remarkable, including storks, buzzards, vultures and flycatchers alongside thousands of migratory visitors, making it a top choice for birdwatchers.
