Anopura

Jaipur, India
Luxury hotel banner
Located outside of the bustle of Jaipur, Anopura offers a peaceful countryside retreat on a 60 acre estate.

It is a stylish sanctuary, blending luxury and style with a glimpse into rural life in India. Expect warm Rajasthani hospitality, farm to table cuisine and slow days to counterbalance the often intense explorations of the region’s cities. There are just fourteen sustainably designed rooms, using traditional lime mortar techniques to regulate their temperature.

Seven are located in the main farm, whilst pool villas are dotted nearby in the pretty gardens, which bloom with frangipani. Guests can languor beside a crystal clear swimming pool or curl up with book in the sunken lounge. Culinary experiences abound, harnessing the best of seasonal produce from the farm. Think pop-up kitchens, private dining at the cattle ranch, and a blend of traditional recipes translated into a refined, yet unfussy style. Anopura boasts an impressive wellness centre, focusing on a holistic Ayurveda approach which goes far beyond a typical hotel spa.

What we love

    • A tranquil retreat near Jaipur, ideal for a few days to unwind in nature
    • Sustainable design of rooms blends with luxurious style
    • Experience rural Rajasthani farm life without compromising on comfort
    • Excellent farm to table cuisine, sourced from the estate and nearby farms
    • Anopura’s head chef has been at the helm for ten years and is a master of his craft
    • The villas with private pools are particularly beautiful
    • An impressive Ayurvedic wellness centre

Not wheelchair friendly, uneven pathways, roads and cobbled paths

It’s located over an hour from Jaipur, so this isn’t the place if you want to be based just in the city

It's very quiet here, but that’s part of the charm

Don’t expect Oberoi style service, it’s a little more laid back

Anopura welcomes children of all ages, and there is plenty to entertain youngsters, from pottery to weaving classes on the estate as well as visits to the farm to help milk the cows.

As an organic farm, sustainability is at the heart of Anopura and all it does. The buildings were designed using sustainable architecture techniques, and the Aditya Baheti Foundation works to empower local communities.

Anopura sits an hour and a half’s drive outside of Jaipur, offering a tranquil place to retreat to after exploring the pink city.

What our travellers say

We went to Sri Lanka as a three-generation family of three. The superb trip was organised by Samanthie and the team and it's difficult to see how it could have been bettered.

Red Dot organised the most wonderful 3-week holiday for us. Samanthie built a trip around the amazing sights we had requested visiting, together with her own suggestions and a wide mix of hotels, which gave us the flavours of both traditional Sri Lanka and the sleek, stylish contemporary version of the country. Our Driver made the whole experience incredibly special for us.

I can’t thank Cherylle and the Red Dot team enough for their meticulous planning of our family holiday to India travelling through Rajasthan over Christmas. As a family of all adults, every suggestion from daily activities to hotel choices was simply perfect. We travelled through Delhi, Ranthambore (an unforgettable tiger safari!), Jaipur and Agra and I truly feel we experienced the very best of each destination while moving at a relaxed, well thought out pace

My partner arranged a holiday trip at fairly short notice to Sri Lanka with Red Dot on a recommendation, Samanthie was so patient & helpful with her suggested itinerary which we followed with some minor amendments. On arrival at Colombo we met Manjula our chauffeur/guide who was absolutely brilliant!

Dulmini and the Red Dot Team arranged a fantastic trip for us around Assam and North East India. Faultless service. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Wonderful company. Our holiday in Sri Lanka was perfect. Local knowledge made all the difference

We looked up, and communicated with umpteen tour operators. Though Red Dot seemed to have offices in Sri Lanka and the UK, they seemed to have the best reviews. We were fortunate enough to correspond with Cherylle, who not only assured us of the safety of our friend, but created a personalised, and flexible, itinerary which we could not have done ourselves.

A 14-day tour with Red Dot Tours was the perfect antidote to the bleak UK winter. After a glowing recommendation from a friend, we contacted Red Dot Tours and were not disappointed. Our consultant, Lahiru, curated a seamless itinerary. Throughout the planning phase, Lahiru was incredibly responsive; the final itinerary—delivered via a user-friendly 'Guest Portal'—was impressively detailed, covering every hotel stay and excursion.
