With just eight guestrooms, it’s an intimate option and one of the best in this region for snow leopard sightings and other Himalayan wildlife. They also partner closely with a wildlife conservancy.

Two of the rooms have a shared bathroom so if you prefer privacy, be sure to request an ensuite room

There’s no WiFi or mobile signal but that’s the charm of its remote location
It can get cold in the mountains but all the rooms have gas heaters and plenty of blankets
There is no running water due to the freezing temperatures - clean hot and cold water is provided for washing and drinking
