Ghandruk Lodge

Ghandruk has been called one of the prettiest villages in Asia, and it is easy to see why.

At over 6,500 feet, this 18-room lodge sits in the shadow of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli, with mountain views that stop you in your tracks. Staff place a hot water bottle in your bed while you are still at dinner, happy hour on the terrace with a cold Gorkha beer tends to stretch rather longer than planned, and for anyone heading higher into the mountains, this will be their last taste of proper comfort for a few days.

Red Dot organised the most wonderful 3-week holiday for us. I can’t thank Cherylle and the Red Dot team enough for their meticulous planning of our family holiday to India travelling through Rajasthan over Christmas. We looked up, and communicated with umpteen tour operators. Though Red Dot seemed to have offices in Sri Lanka and the UK, they seemed to have the best reviews. We were fortunate enough to correspond with Cherylle, who not only assured us of the safety of our friend, but created a personalised, and flexible, itinerary which we could not have done ourselves.
