On Sri Lanka’s Southern Coast, the best time to see whales is normally November to April. On the East Coast the best time is considered to be May to October, and on the West Coast it’s arguably a little more year round but sightings are less common. Please let us know if you have more information about how to see whales ethically and respectfully in Sri Lanka.
