The bustling hill-country capital of Kandy lies on a plain amidst towering hills and looped by Sri Lanka's largest river: the Mahaweli.
With a beautiful lake as its centrepiece, this is also arguably Sri Lanka's second city and home to The Temple of The Tooth. The town’s pleasant temperate climate, its scenic location and its rich unique history has made it a favourite for travellers, also conveniently stopping here between the ancient cities and the tea country.
Many of our clients stay out of town in the more scenic hills surrounding the city and simply visit during the day.
