Your children will then have the chance to craft puppets and tell their own stories with a mini display.

If energy levels are flagging, we’d suggest a visit from an experienced henna tattoo artist, who’ll paint a bespoke design on the hands or feet of any of your family members who’d like one. It’s a wonderfully soothing experience, sitting quietly as the ink sweeps over your skin, allowing you to experience this ancient artform that remains an important ritual, used to mark and celebrate auspicious occasions. Your tattoo will be a beautiful reminder of your trip and will last for up to two weeks, perfect for little ones to show off at home.

As the sun begins to dip at the end of the day, your guide will take you to the home of a local family where you’ll join them on their flat rooftop to take part in the fabulous kite flying displays that soar in the skies above Jaipur in the dry months.
